The third set of photos show Hoonah, Alaska, where a church known as St. Nicholas sits in abandoned disrepair.  There is no longer an active Orthodox parish in Hoonah, but there are plans to renovate the church in the near future, God willing.  Just getting up to the church was a challenge.  Two brass bells sit on a deck outside the door, one of which was cast by the W. T. Garrett foundry in San Francisco in 1884.
