Last Sunday, we gathered at St. Innocent Orthodox Church to pray for our students and teachers as they begin another school year.
Following the Divine Liturgy, our students, teachers, and educators received a special blessing with holy water as we asked God to guide, protect, and strengthen them throughout the year ahead.
As our students return to the classroom, we pray that they grow not only in knowledge, but also in wisdom, virtue, and love of God and neighbor. We also pray for our teachers, asking God to give them patience, wisdom, and strength as they serve and guide the next generation.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
May God bless our students, teachers, administrators, and families throughout the coming school year!
